Xavier Querol certifies air quality as a “public health problem”

The researcher Xavier Querol has been interviewed due to the publications of the air quality in Europe, made by ISGlobal, where cities like Madrid or Barcelona are in the ten most polluted cities in the continent.

He claims that the air quality “is not a problem about being ecologist or not, but about public health”. Some experts agree that Spain “lags behind other European states” in the fight against pollution, especially in cities.
