Yesterday, the External Scientific Advisory Committee had a meeting with the Executive Board of the Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA-CSIC) as part of the annual advisory meeting to all ‘Severo Ochoa’ centers. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, the meeting was held on-line.
The meeting was focused on showing the work-progress in each of the Severo Ochoa Committees, together with the presentation of both, the Communication and Outreach, and Fundraising Departments. The director, Teresa Moreno, also highlighted the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on IDAEA scientific production, not only as a disadvantegous aspect, but also as an opportunity in which IDAEA has carried out new funded projects and more impact on media.
