IDAEA receives the accésit of the Gender Equality Accreditation

On 8th March 2022, International Women’s Day, CSIC handed out the Gender Equality Accreditations and accésits of 2020 and 2021 in Madrid. The Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA-CSIC) obtained the accésit without endowment of Gender Equality in 2020, when the jury valued the advancements of the centre against the inequalities in scientific careers between men and women. Due to the pandemic, there was no award ceremony.

The vice-director Sílvia Lacorte, from the Chemometrics group, was in charge of receving the award, together with the Institute of Marine Sciences (ICM-CSIC) and the Institute of Mathematical Sciences (ICMAT-CSIC), awarded in 2020.
