The Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA-CSIC) has held the 1st conference on plastic pollution PLASTIC’2020 on October 27-28, which have brought together experts from the scientific, business and legislative fields to tackle the problem of plastic pollution.
According to Ethel Eljarrat, researcher at IDAEA-CSIC and organizer of PLASTIC2020, the idea of PLASTIC2020 is to create links between the different sectors involved in the problem of plastics.
Followed by more than 100 people in streaming on the IDAEA-CSIC YouTube channel, the debate was open to all audiences and managed to capture the attention of the media, research institutes and private companies.
The conference will be uploaded on the IDAEA-CSIC YouTube channel and announced through social media plastforms.
