The Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA-CSIC) will collaborate with NanoEscopista, a project to encourage scientific vocations in children in a creative and artistic way. In particular,the project SuperNano is focused on nanotechnology. In Supernano, children will create a superheroine with nanotechnology powers to solve a challenge linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). This collaboration will take place within the CSIC4Girls project funded by the Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología (FECyT).
The project also targets the teaching community. Teachers and mentors will obtain a training and the know-how about tools and games to be used in class so children can create the heroine character. Finally, together with the Institute of Advanced Chemistry of Catalonia (IQAC-CSIC) all these designs will be exhibited in the center.
