The IDAEA researcher Francesc Gallart Gallego, from the Surface Hydrology and Erosion group, will receive the ERB 2022 Medal Award. The Euromediterranean Network of Experimental and Representative Basins (ERB) is an open association of 22 European countries operating and managing well-instrumented experimental and representative basins for hydrological and environmental research on a long-term basis. The ERB network promotes the exchange of basic information and cooperation in international programs.
The ERB Steering Committee assigned the award to Prof. Gallart for his long and substantial contribution to understanding hydrological processes in small catchments and his efforts to promote the activities of the ERB network.
Francesc Gallart will give his medal lecture, “Learning and contributing to hydrological knowledge: a 34-year journey within research basins” on Tuesday, 7 June, at 21:00h.
