The IDAEA-CSIC pre-doctoral researcher Bernat Oró-Nolla , from the Chemometrics group, has won the III Tesimarató de Química, a contest in which participants have to explain their PhD project in just 4 minutes in a catchy and simple way. Organized by the Faculty of Chemistry, Universitat de Barcelona, the contest took place online last November 17th and gathered 12 participants carrying out their PhD thesis in the following PhD programmes: Nanosciences, Analytic Chemistry and Environment, Organic Chemistry, Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling, and Engineering and Applied Sciences.
Bernat Oró Nolla presented his work entitled Desenvolupament i validació d’un mètode analític per a la determinació de COPs a la sang de baldriga de les Bermudes (Pterodroma cahow) – Development and validation of an analytic method for the determination of POPs in the Bermuda petrel’s blood (Pterodroma cahow).
