The IDAEA Young Researchers’ Week 2021 (YRW) took place on October 27-28 in an exclusively online format. This year, 33 PhD and MSc students participated in different formats (19 oral presentations, 12 posters, and 2 videos), covering all the IDAEA scientific fields. This year, there was also a round table about career opportunities after the PhD. Speakers explained their experiences, doubts, and evolution after defending their thesis and gave practical tips for IDAEA PhD students. The workshop on mental health during the PhD, conducted by Ryan Armstrong, worked on strategies and dynamics to foster well-being and self-assurance of the researchers.
