The atmospheric pollution causes millions of deaths every year and the health risk is expected to increase. This pollution is more restricted to urban areas. However the relation between the pollution and the metherological conditions is nowadays unknown.
INTEMPOL project studies the distribution of persistent organic pollutants in thermal inversion situations to develop strategies of health risks mitigation and to know the health, social and economic impact of these measures.
