Researchers from the group of Environmental Geochemistry and Atmospheric Research (EGAR) publish a compilation of the available scientific information about how the SARS-Cov-2 virus is emitted, which causes COVID-19 disease. The document also includes information about its possible transmission by air and the different filtration options that are available.
The report has been written by María Cruz Minguillón, with the collaboration of other researchers from the research group such as IDAEA director Teresa Moreno, Xavier Querol, Andrés Alastuey, Natalia Moreno, Cristina Reche, Carla Ribalta, Mar Viana, Jesús de la Rosa from the Universidad de Huelva and José Luis Jiménez from the University of Colorado-Boulder.
